Krassimire Ouzounov, Massage Therapist

Krassimire Ouzounov is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) based in the South Orange County area. He was born and raised in Bulgaria. Since he was a little kid, he was fascinated with non-traditional medicine and enjoyed helping out his family members with massage whenever they had stiffness in their shoulders or headaches. In his late 20’s, Krassimire has become a licensed massage therapist in Bulgaria. There he met his future wife, and in 2011 got married and moved to the United States.

Krassimire received his HHP certification through a 1000-hour massage therapy education at the Healing Hands School of Holistic Health. He furthered his study by taking kinesiology classes and working with people suffering from different levels of disability. For over 4 years, Krassimire used his knowledge to perform different combinations of techniques such as neuromuscular massage, deep tissue massage, sports and trigger point massage, Swedish massage, therapeutic stretching, hot stones and others as a massage therapist at Andres Family Chiropractic and Hand and Stone Spa in Rancho Santa Margarita.

During that time, he learned how to help people with structural issues by introducing the Hot Stones massage to them as a very powerful technique. Krassimire discovered how to use the energy of the stones to pin point the problematic areas and with the combination of other techniques, he can help his clients release the superficial and deeper muscles. Utilizing the penetration power of the heat, he focuses on the problematic areas by relaxing the nervous system and in return, achieves better treatment results.

He also specializes in working with people who suffer from different injuries, stress related stiffness, including mom’s-to-be during their pregnancy with prenatal massage. Krassimire also has great experience and results from working with clients that have migraine headaches. He uses neuromuscular techniques to help people with migraine headaches, releasing tense muscles and inflamed nerves at the neck and shoulders. His strong belief in Eastern Medicine, especially acupuncture, has influenced his decision to join the team at Green Forest Wellness Center.
